Message	launching forces are applied. The spacers fill in the space between the two rubber bushings that bounce agaist eachother. The solid ones completely remove the rubber bushings all together leaving nothing with the elasticity to create a bounce. I hope I worded that in a way you could understand. :) Look in FAQ about the install and the pics will show the placement of these bushing at it should make sense then.
